I feel like I've missed so much, since I've last been on here

    Back to the original conversation...

You know you love books when you often finish a library book the same day you get it out.

You know you love books when:
You have to get a new book shelf.

Your back hurts from reading in the most uncomfortable place because your siblings are to loud to be reading where it's comfortable.

You don't want your younger siblings touching your books.

I have finished books the same day I got them from the library. (:

Or when you want a new book shelf, but can't figure out how you could possibly squeeze another one into your room.

I read in uncomfortable places because I started reading there and then I'm too engaged in the story to move.

I do want my younger siblings to touch my books, because I want them to read them and enjoy them as much as I do!  I just want them to handle books with care.

I often finish library books a couple hours later and then want to go back and get the next one in the series.

Your librarian ignores the ten-book limit and lets you check out 43.
You search the woods for yew, because you know (from reading Robin Hood) that that's the only wood that's good enough for an English longbow.
You make a bow because it was your favorite character's weapon.
You start writing books, because you want to read more, but can't find anything more to read!
You shock your parents by reading Moby Dick, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Uncle Tom's Cabin, King Arthur, and any Henty book, and understanding every single word, despite the many dialects.

All of these things except for the searching for yew to make a bow I have done. I haven't done that because I know yew doesn't grow around here.

Your library sets a 10-book limit after the time you checked out 43.

You name your stuffed animals after book characters...

(yes, when I was about eight... my stuffed animals' names changed about weekly. ;D)

You wish that you and your siblings were in the order of boy-girl-boy-girl instead of girl-boy-girl-boy so that you'd have the proper age ratio for playing at being the Pevensies in Narnia (it's not so impressive to have Susan six inches taller than Peter...)

You ask the librarian to hold a book for you that they just took out of circulation so that you could buy it before someone else does.

You know you love books when...
    (sorry if there are repeats!)

You demand that your siblings not drink or eat while reading your books.
Cry when the characters go through difficult times or gets hurt or dies.
Wish you knew guys like that.
    Read almost all the time.
Make up your own stories involving the characters (i.e. fan fiction)

I'll think of more later and yes, I have done almost all of those.

I've made up stories involving the characters in other books.  It's so much fun!

That's cool... which books? I'm working on some, but with school and stuff it's kind of hard to find time...
