We need a topic to discuss these!

I'm rereading The Patchwork Girl of Oz. (As you will know if you frequently visit the "What Are You Reading?" thread!) I like the living phonograph.

I think The Patchwork Girl is #7. There are a ton of Oz books out there!

    Yus yus, quite bonkers.
Gee whiz, how many books could one man write all set in one world? Or do they branch out into islands and all that rot?

Some of them go out to some of the "adjoining areas" but always end up in Oz. Really, though, they are hilariously silly and fun, every single one of them!

Here's a list of the Oz books. Also Ruth Plumly Thompson continued the series after L. Frank Baum died.

I guess there aren't as many original Oz books as I thought, but there are still a lot.

    Thanks!
Goodness, I don't see how I could ever keep up with so many pen names! My one is enough, and I haven't even used it yet.
