It's snowing here and probably won't accumulate enough to do anything with it. Oh well, an excuse to read more.

Well, even if you don't get very much, at least it looks pretty.

It's incredibly foggy here, so it looks like snow...sort of...not really.

Yesterday I looked out my brother's window and saw white stuff flying through the air and shrieked "SNOW!" ...but it turned out to be my mum shaking a rug on the porch. How tragic.

Why thank you, Sarah. Though it doesn't look like that any more, alas.

Hmm... working for the FBI. Yep! I'll take that! What is the Poe's wife thing anyway? I can't remember. Glad you like Desperaux!

I guess I should go finish my NaNo novel before November ends...

It snowed nearly all day today. My cousins from TX were going to drop in but the weather didn't allow it. It was snowing pretty hard. It was said to be 6-8 inches but I don't know. There was still alot of it and quite pretty.

Yes, you had better hurry and finish your novel before your electricity goes out. It wouldn't want to break its tradition, would it?

My iPod is notorious for eating posts. This one isn't as absolutely brilliant as my first post was.

6-8 inches? Yahoo! (It's amazing if we get 1 inch...)

HA! It's amazing if we git a DUSTING. The weatherguy says "Well, there's a fifty-percent chance of snow tomorrow evening" and we all look at each other incredulously.
The Poe's wife thing: I told you, Alyosha, that you would look like Poe's wife at the end of yer NaNo thing. It grew on from there and when I told you bout the stayin' up late, we launched a contest. Of sorts. I won there for a few days; didn't take any pictures but Oi wus SCARY! Infrequent depression attack. But when they do hit, they HIT.
For those of you who don't know, I am writing mah Advent novel in NaNo form and with NaNo expectations. See the writer thread.

The forum has been really slow lately. Oh well. I suppose Christmas is a busy season for a lot of people...

Ummm...I don't have anything to say.

*brakes into loud singing of Waltzing Matilda*

    No, no, no...

*switches over to If I Was Jesus*

    I'm so excited, man.

Hmm, Paul's doing a show in New South Wales? Where on earth is that? It's in AU?! Why does he like his home continent better than my home continent? *weeps* According to Google Maps in order to get there I have to do a bunch of driving, kayak across the Pacific Ocean and enter Hawaii, drive more, kayak some more and enter Japan (once there I "continue straight"), and after driving over a great many Japanese streets I'll kayak some more, until my arms fall off, and finally enter Australia were I will drive a great deal more until I finally come to 12 Penrose Crescent, Erina, NSW 2250 and will be happy despite the loss of my arms, my cramped legs, and massive headache.

I just discovered that Australia as nice street names. Canada does not.

It's raining. The statement in and of itself is self-explanatory!
Busy with Christmas? Eh, somewhat. There's the usual card-sending bonanza that always drives me nuts, the book to write, Algebra 2 to scratch my head over, a nutty puppy that has learned the secret of flying into our faces whenever we sit down on the couch, a drive-through Nativity to take part in, a friend to bother here and there, the funeral of some friend's relative, and a recent family tragedy that threw us all off line.

    Aww, I'm sorry, Pip.

This Christmas is more of a relaxing Christmas for our family, which is nice.

Our kittens are getting so big and cute! On Christmas, after we finished opening presents, we brought all five kittens into the family room. We had so much fun dangling ribbons over their heads and watching them pounce on balls of wrapping paper. It's amazing how fast those little balls of fur can move.

    LoL. Sounds fun!

For Christmas (among other things!) I got two more stuffed hippos (soon to be three; the third one has been ordered but hasn't arrived yet) to add to my collection. I had to find a new place to keep my hippos. I've got fourteen of those things so far! (Fifteen once the package arrives.)

I didn't know there were that many hippos. Are they all stuffed?

All except for three. Two of which are plastic and the third is one I made out of salt dough. (Homemade clay, basically.)

And they all have names, too.

    Ooooh, what are their names?!
The weather here has been windy and dark. Creepy. Bright stars.
I have become considerably lankier, crazier and more random since the last time I posted here, see the writer's thread for my return-most-triumphant. I think forced writing does indeed turn people's heads somewhat.
What is it about teens that they think just because their "older" means they can't sleep with stuffed toys??? I am not accusing anyone here if you don't, I'm just saying don't be ashamed to. I have several very special toys sitting grinning at the foot of my bed.

Eh, what are people's opinions here about CCM and/or live online chatting?
