    Hey everybody!

We've been working on getting some Read-a-Thon shirts for you, and we can do them if we get enough orders to cover our minimum purchase.

So, would you buy a shirt like the ones below (available in navy blue or chocolate brown) for $13.99, which includes US shipping?

    Here's a mock-up of what they'll look like:

Here's a closer look at the design:

If enough people say yes, we'll make them and take orders.

Hmm... maybe, how much would they cost and what about shipping prices?

I don't know.  I like them, but I'm not sure I'd want to spend the money.

I'm with Alassiel. I like them, the design is cool, but I don't think I'd buy them. Sorry!

    There's no 'maybe' option, huh?

Actually, yes. I would. Those are cool shirts and they're less than thirty dollars. Heck, they're even less than twenty. You get brownie points for that!

If you get them, I'll buy one.

We were looking at setting up a print-on-demand store, but that ended up with $25 shirts, and we knew that wasn't going to fly. To keep the price low (and really, it's about as low as we can get it), we have to meet a minimum order, which is why we're only looking for a definite yes or no.

Janin, did you vote in the poll?

They're cool and I like them but I only buy maybe one tshirt a year. If you had them, I'd tell my grandparents that I wanted one for Christmas, but that's not necessarily a yes.

Maybe if you don't put the year on it, then it'd be good for every year, not just 2010?

Well, it's definitely a possibility for next year, just by changing the date, I'm sure. If we don't get enough to meet the minimum this year, I'm pretty sure they'll be back if Read-a-Thon 2011 happens.

Didn't realize there was a poll.
    Now I've voted.
    What's your minimum?

We need to get a least 12, but some of those will come from the Read-a-Thon organizers, 'cause we wanted some, too. Not sure how many of us wanted one, though.

You've really got something going here. You've managed to get shirts for under $20 with a minimum order of 12?? Surely, surely, we can find homes for twelve. Nice going.

    We haves connections.

And as I mentioned before, those twelve do include orders from the organizers. I know that we want at least two of those.

An update: The Read-a-Thon organizers want four shirts. So we only need four more people to say yes to make 'em.
