Back by popular demand! We're working on getting ready for the official announcement in a few weeks, but until then, what has you excited about the Read-a-Thon this year?

(Somebody remind me... Did I sticky this thread last year?)

It dosn't look like you did. Let me start it off. Last year I didn't do very well this year I hope to do a lot better. Maybe this year I'll read LOTR and a couple other classics I have on my shelf. Can't wait for the Read-A-Thon!

I think you might have stickied it.  (Is stickied even a word?)

I'm hoping to actually try to be competitive this year.  I've got a insanely long reading list, and I would really like to get through most of it this summer.  So bring on the RAT!

Um, I think I'll get this going again. Who plans on joining the R.A.T. this year and what do you plan to read? I am going to join unless something totally crazy happens like our house sells before june 1st. This year I think I'll try LOTR again. I tryed to read it last year but it's really a  complicated book. I'll try to finish DioM and the Echoes from the Edge series. Like I said in an earlier post I have a couple classics I have to read on my shelf.

I am so joining!  For the last two years I have came in second place and it's driving me nuts.  Second place is great and all, but it's beginning to get infuriating being that close and not making it.

So what does everybody think of the video on the Read-a-Thon home? We were going for a bit more epic this year.

I liked the video.  It's cool!

Except that when he turns a page, the counter should go up by 2, instead of one.

LoL, Ben said that when we shot it.

By the way, has everybody been getting confirmation of registration? We've had a couple people sign up again after we confirmed it.

I might have been me because when you hit submit a little circle with arrows pops up and spins but it doesn't stop or say "entry submitted" or anything that tells you it went through. I didn't know if it went through so I refreshed the page and tryed it again. It must of worked because I got a confirmation.
