This is the all-new, all-official Lord of the Rings thread! Below is a link that may or may not work *ahem* ...it's a test to see whose characters' personality fits yours the best. (I was Merry, which agrees with me quite nicely!)

It said I was Sam. I'm not sure how well that fits me. I guess it does.

*hearty laughter* Oh boy...well, he's a nice dude; I know one guy who was Boromir! I'm sorry, but that's just awful. (To me, anyway)

My sister, Adalin, took it and it said she was Elrond. Now that definitely does not fit her at all!

    Oh, dear...
One of my close friends is Aragorn and a younger sib is Legolas. My other younger sib is Arwen, which was funny because Arwen was her character! (The one that she claimed to 'be'.)

    I got Aragorn...haha. Funny.

I wonder if there are LOTR personality quizzes that actually judge you by your personality, not by your favourite food? *goes off to look*

And what's wrong with Boromir? Poor old Boromir, he's so unappreciated. He did redeem himself in the end, remember. Faramir is still better though.

    I'm Merry.

Did anybody here put something other than "Read a book" for that one question?

(Yes, I've officially come back from vacation!)

    Welcome back!

Is this thread for talking about the book series as well as the little test thing?

Actually, Jordan, I did. Lately I've had more difficultly getting into a book. I don't know what's wrong with me. When I actually thought about it, I would be more likely to cook than read! Very strange.

    I think so, Rebekah.

Ben, my sympathies!!!!!!! My sibs and I went through the test tons of times, trying to git different results, and the time when we put in all cowardly things like run away when confronted with a fight or pressure, we got Frodo.
Good grief, if you had to choose, wouldn't we all wanna read all the time? *mischevious laughter* Nice that you are Merry, jordan...we can be partners in crime! Probably, Alyosha, the people who made up the test figured that someone like Merry would eat rich foods, and that anyone who loved chocolate over sandwhiches would most likely be that character!
This thread is for gabbing about all things LotR.
I actually didn't loik the first half of the Fellowship, and I haven't started the second one yet, cause Tolkien was so beguiled by his own genius (aren't we all???) that he made his books read more like a history than a fantasy, and I prefer the latter above the former.

Well, I didn't put in run away until after I finished answering all the questions the correct way. I did put run away in later when I wanted to see what it would give me, I think it gave me Aragorn.

...which proves that the test has some mental stability issues...
