The first book is out and is called Ryann Watters and the King's Sword. (Review coming soon!) The sequel, Ryann Watters and the Shield of Faith, is in the works.

    Discuss.

It seemed pretty good for his first book. I wasn't really super impressed, but I guess I don't have any complaints either.

Never read it. What's the basic plotline?

The fact that his name is Ryann and not Ryan really deeply disturbs me.

Mayhap I shall console myself by writing "Ryann [sic]" hereafter.

There is a reason that it is spelled with two "N"s, which you will find out if you read the book.

Oh. Well. Thanks. *is mollified* Since I will probably never read the book (library doesn't have it) would you mind enlightening me?

Hoorah! An opportunity to use the spoiler tag.

His name ties in later when they are doing a search on a Bible software thing-a-ma-jig and by adding "double" to their search (because he has two Ns in his first name and two Ts in his last) they uncover a key clue to their quest for the King's Sword. It's kinda hard to explain, but there you have it.

Aha. Thank you! And just think, it could have been Ryyan, or Ryaan, or, heaven forbid, Rryan. Ryann wins.
