This post is for the book 20,000 leagues Under the Seaby Jules Verne. What did you like about it if you have read it? I loved all the things about the sea. I especially liked the Nautilus . It's not really that big of a spoiler but for those who don't like any thing being spoiled that's for you.

I haven't read it yet, but I mean to soon!

I really enjoy this book, myself. Especially an audio version. The audio makes the drier, technical stuff go past a lot more quickly.

I started listening to it on audio, but maybe halfway through (or more) switched to reading it on my own. (I think the book was abridged, though. But I abridged it even more by skipping the page-long descriptions of the different fish...... Ha! )

The ending wasn't really what I was expecting, but it works. If you're willing to wade through some of the long scientific monologues, I would say it's an enjoyable read.
