OK, we really need a thread for any soupy thing that pops into our wild minds, so even if it's not about books *gasp* but about you, your sibs, your life in general, the homework that your dog supposedly ate...this is the place to randomly-wander.

Okay, so I hope this is what TahiriVeila was talking about when she meant "leave it in off-topic", but anyway, this is for a Star Trek vs. Star Wars discussion (duh), where the Trekkers/Trekkies, and the...um...Jedi? Star Wars people...can talk about which one's better, etc., etc.

Who wants to start? <img src="http://incredibooks.com/ibdiscuss/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />

Alright, as someone recently pointed out this forum has been dead for many months now. So here is where you post your excuses. Where have you been? What have you been doing that has taken all of your time? If you don't have time to post your excuses at least say hi so we know you still live.

My excuses are schoolwork and writing. I am a senior in high school, so my workload is pretty big and consumes most of my afternoon. The evenings are usually spent writing or spending time with family. I want to be a writer and have started taking serious steps toward that. I also work and write for my local newspaper. Those are my excuses. Now I want to hear yours.

Hey i've just finished a book called "Endworlds" it's a really good read

It's kind of a sci-fi book but it's also a new kind of book called "reality literature" where events that happen in the real world are then written into the book, then the evens in the book dictate new events in the real world. Seriously amazing!!After the first book it leads to a treasure hunt in the real world and the people who find the treasure are written into the sequel! So that means YOU could be in a book!!

I don't think i've seen a book like it before check it out - http://bit.ly/wMYrSt

Would be great to have a group on here to discuss it, to help with the clues, puzzles ect!

Has anyone else read Big Nate? They're so good. Whoever hasn't read any of the books has to read at least one. The author is Lincoln Peirce. It's about a sixth grader named Nate. His rival is Artur, who everyone thinks is perfect. Another one of his rivals is Gina. Gina is a suck-up to all of the teachers and likes to tattletale on Nate. Nate hangs 2 friends named Teddy and Francis. His hates all of his teaches but he sort of likes Mr. Rosa. He especially hates Mrs. Godfrey.

Q: If you were to write a book, what type of book would it be?

A: For me it would be a Childrens Book or an Adult Drama.

You can ask other questions too!

EX: Was the Read-A-Thon Fun?
