Today my mother and my father were watching The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe on YouTube. I watched with them but I really wanted to see Prince Caspian because I really like the battle in that one.

I had started reading the book a long time ago but then I never finished it. Last week on Sunday my family (besides my brother) went to see the movie. It was awesome!

Yes, Adalin, this is one of the few films I have seen that I thought needed more dialogue. Most of the time I feel like less was needed. Although, pieces of VDT needed less dialogue, too…

Our entire family saw it a couple of days ago. Unfortunately I was disappointed. They left alot of things hanging, when one sentence could have cleared it up. They needed more dialouge. Spoilers after this.
Eustace's transformation was disappointing. They didn't make it clear that when he was scratching, he was trying to remove his dragon skin. All they would have needed was one line from Aslan along the lines of, remove your skin you are a boy now. Or something like that. So Eustace's story didn't have the same impact it did in the book.
On a nicer note I really enjoyed the relationship between Caspian and Edmund. Especially the scene right before the end battle, the two of them chatting while putting their armor on. It was very sweet.
I also liked the battle scenes, they were creative and interesting. No more lining armies up and charging. I salute their choreographer.
So my final conclusion they made a good movie, but failed to go the extra mile to make it a great movie. Which is unfortunate.

Jordan's review is up. I haven't seen VDT yet, but might be going to see it in theaters.

Anyone else seen it?

I read all the books at least once. I actually listened to the audiobook of "The Magician's Nephew", and I thought it was very cool and funny, so I read the book. I probably won't re-read the book, but I'll try and watch the movie.

I've been re-reading most of the books so I'll be all ready to do a review here on Incredibooks like I did for Prince Caspian. Three days! *Snoopy dance*

I've also heard and seen by looking carefully that the trailer intentionally is misleading. Look at little details like whether or not people have wet hair from shot to shot in a section that looks like it's in the same scene. You might be surprised!
