I'll restart this thread!

What's everybody think of the lovely new spoilers? I'm loving the new soundtrack samples on disney.com (in fact, I'm listening to them now!).

I know that this movie isn't coming out until 2010, but news stories are starting to appear all over the place.

Right now, we know that...

They have changed directors, the new guy is Michael Apted.

They are filming some of the ship scenes in a huge water tank in Mexico.

Trumpkin will be in the movie somewhere, but we don't know if he's on the Dawn Treader or not.

Anything I'm missing?

Bryan Davis posted on his Facebook that all fans should be watching this group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=59071822103

The producer, Darren Thomas, has asked for fan responses to a question about how strictly they must stick to the book. Let your opinion be known!

Mr. Thomas also mentions that they have a studio interested in a rewrite of the script to better emphasize the relationship between Clefspeare and Merlin. Cool! That's progress!

What new movies of books are you looking forward to? Which ones are you definitely not planning on seeing?

I'll start. I'm excited about City of Ember coming this October. I'm planning on missing Journey to the Center of the Earth, it looks way too changed. *mutters something about Walden claiming to make good representations of books*

When I saw Prince Caspian, I got to see a trailer for City of Ember, which went by as "just another action/escape movie" at that time. But now I've been seeing references to the book all over the place. Is the book any good? If so, I'll need to read it before the movie is supposed to come out so I'll be ready!

Okay, so the movie will be coming in about a month. Are you planning on seeing it?

I keep seeing rumors of the rating. But I cannot for the life of me find somebody who agrees! Wikipedia claims that it's PG-13, IMDB doesn't have a rating but claims that there is a "scene of decapitation", and somewhere else (don't remember) claims it's PG. Anybody know anything official?

I went looking for the new poster to find out, but I can't find one that's high-res enough to see what it's rated. I can see that there is a rating, and it has a "P" in it, but I can't make out the rest.
