I just so happen to love playing this. And it doesn't really work out to well with my siblings at the dinner table (we're always sidetracking and quoting out of turn. Esigh.) So, if the moderators allow this, and we get to playing it--what fun!

It kind of runs like this...

FIRST PERSON POSTS: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." -- Albert Einstein

SECOND PERSON POSTS: "This man has insulted me!" -- Syme, G. K. Chesterton, The Man Who Was Thursday

THIRD PERSON POSTS: "That raises a terrible question." -- C. S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Got that? Just follow the third persons lead. <img src="http://incredibooks.com/ibdiscuss/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />

Post a bit of book trivia without revealing the title of the book.

(Optional) You can put the title in spoiler tags so that people can see what the answer is. Or, you can just leave it a mystery until somebody guesses.

(Optional) Post some hints if it's a really tough one.

Here's a starter, with all of the optional elements.:

Most writers know that a very clichéd opening is, "It was a dark and stormy night." Which novel starts with this sentence?

Clue: The book won a Newberry award.

Answer: A Wrinkle in Time

Randomly pick three book titles that all start with the same letter and post them. You have to have read at least one of the titles you post. The person who posts next has to pick a different letter to start with, and they get to guess which of your titles you have read. If they guess one right, post with three new titles and a "So-and-so gets a point." You get a point for every title you guess right. We'll keep this up for three pages of posts, then count up the points. Whoever has the highest score wins!
