I have never heard of it. Sounds unique, I'll have to look into it. I probably won't read it till summer though.

Hey i've just finished a book called "Endworlds" it's a really good read

It's kind of a sci-fi book but it's also a new kind of book called "reality literature" where events that happen in the real world are then written into the book, then the evens in the book dictate new events in the real world. Seriously amazing!!After the first book it leads to a treasure hunt in the real world and the people who find the treasure are written into the sequel! So that means YOU could be in a book!!

I don't think i've seen a book like it before check it out - http://bit.ly/wMYrSt

Would be great to have a group on here to discuss it, to help with the clues, puzzles ect!

K

I've read six chapters so far. Considering that there are 40 chapters, I'm not too surprised that most of what's happened so far is ratcheting up for the ride down soon.

There has already been something quite unexpected. Two minor characters, one from each of the first books in each series, have returned. If you really want specifics, read this next spoiler: Adam Lark, and Bonnie's first-grade friend Carly!

I suppose the point is to read it at the same time. But hey, this is a good place to stick spoilers, anyhow.

And point out what chapter your thoughts and spoilers are from?

Isn't that the whole point, though? To read it together, at the same time?

The fourth (and/or eighth) book? Ah, I'm not sure if I want to read all the others to be in check with the rest of you.

It is the fourth and final book in the Oracles of Fire series, but it will wrap up stuff from the Dragons in Our Midst series, as well.

I don't particularly like the chart out thing... That means I have to read at the pace everybody else is. How 'bout people can do that if they like, and I'll just. Post your thoughts on the book here regardless of how you read it!

Is that book stand alone or part of a series?

I've been meaning to start a reading group for the longest time. One for Jonathan Strange and another for Anne of Green Gables, not at the same time though.

I believe you chart out when you read each chapter or several chapters and then when you'll post thoughts on them so everyone is reading it in a roughly uniformed way. Like three chapters on weekdays and discussion/thoughts on weekends. Or something. I've never actually been in a reading group, ya know.

How in the world do reading groups work? I've never done one! I thought this board has been vacant long enough, so here's a reading group in preparation for Bryan Davis' latest book The Bones of Makaidos which will be released on April 1st!
