For one, in the book the characters were 12, in the movie they're like 16. For another in the book there was no Persephone. In the movie they also took out the Furies. The list goes on, but I'll stop now because I'm giving away like a million spoilers. Wikipedia claims that it's PG-13, IMDB doesn't have a rating but claims that there is a "scene of decapitation", and somewhere else (don't remember) claims it's PG. Anybody know anything official?</p> <p>I went looking for the new poster to find out, but I can't find one that's high-res enough to see what it's rated. It's so fun to compare. Netflix and the local library are great places to find book-based movie material... Someone try it and tell me their success (or lack thereof, not all movie adaptations are that great!). </p>
