Has anyone read anything by Wendy Mass? She's my favorite children's author! I love her new book Thirteen Gifts, but before you read that you have to read 11 Birthdays & Finally! They're so good!

Hello there!

Just wondering if anyone else has read anything by Ted Dekker. I just recently discovered him and have been devouring his books almost as fast as I can get them.

So, what do you think of Lemony Snicket? I love his books, despite the fact that I was sure they were the stupidest thing in the world for a long time. The only reason I actually picked up the Bad Beginning was so I could criticize it better. I ended up liking it.

Has anyone else read The Unauthorized Autobiography or The Beatrice Letters? I just got the latter, and would be very interested in discussing the confusing contents.

I was on Brian Jacques website and look what I found!!

Keep reading and wait for The Sable Quean. This is another super tale, with a villainess to rival any evil vermin. And guess what? A Warrior Mole! Plus of course lots of brave woodlanders, feasts and riddles.

Sounds cool to me.

Has anyone read the Wilderking trilogy by Jonathan Rogers?

It is one of my favorite series, full of adventure, humor and a new feel to the standard medieval fantasy that totally sets it in it's own place, I found it easily more enjoyable than Narnia.

Bryan Davis and Colleen Coble are my favorite authors. Has anyone read the Dragons in Our Midst Series or the Oracle of Fire series? They are absolutely phenomenal and incredibly inspiring. I can't wait for The Bones of Makaidos to be released!
And I just finished Colleen Coble's Aloha Reef series. I read reviews for the series before buying it, but I still wasn't sure what I would think of it. They turned out to be fantastic, and alas, I now have another favorite author to accompany Bryan. =]

I'd heard a rumor earlier this year that the 2008 book would be a fourth in the Castaways series. And then I just recently found the cover and information for a Redwall Book 20, Doomwyte. Now it looks like we'll be getting both! What do you think about that?

Hey! This thread is for announcing prayer requests that authors send out in blogs and stuff (like I know Mr. Batson did once) and things we can pray for the authors about. I thought it might be good to try this! We can always pray that the authors of the books we all like will write God-glorifying literature and not stray off into the foggy distance of *ahem* less-desirable genres. <img src="http://incredibooks.com/ibdiscuss/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />
